SICOM General Insurance Ltd (SGIN) hereby invites Expression Of Interest for the supply on rental basis of storage space, centrally located in the regions of either Pailles, Port Louis, GRNW, or Terre Rouge or other suitable place in the vicinity of Port Louis for use as storage area/auction site for damaged vehicles and with the following specifications/requirements:

Interested Parties should submit the following details:

- Area of storage space proposed for vehicle storage

- Description of proposed storage space (bare land, tarred, presence of any building etc)

- Site plan showing exact location of proposed storage space and address

- Office with amenities available on-site during auction sale

- Security measures available on site to prevent theft/burglary

- Measures available to prevent/control fire/damage to vehicles

-Facilities available to segregate storage area from auction site

- Towing facilities/ Assistance available on site for auction process

- Amount of rental fees plus any Tax, chargeable on monthly basis

Interested parties are also informed that the successful bidder would be required on allocation of the tender to:

1. Submit an insurance policy covering its legal liability for bodily injury to third parties or loss of or damage to third party property including consequential loss where such injury or damage occurs in the connection with ownership of premises. The policy is to be extended to cover its liability towards SICOM General Insurance Ltd for damage to SGIN's property whilst in its custody and under its control. The Policy limit should not be less than Rs 10,000,000.
2. Produce relevant permit from Authorities, or to seek and produce such permit as soon as possible.
3. Provide Business Registration Number / VAT Registration Number.

The successful bidder will enter into a contract with SICOM General Insurance Ltd for an initial period of one year, renewable annually by mutual agreement.

Expression of Interest. in sealed envelope, clearly marked ‘Expression of Interest - Renting of Storage Space' should be deposited in the Tender Box Ground Floor. SICOM Building 1, Sir Celicourt Antelme Street, Port Louis by 15.00hrs on Monday 9 September 2024.

Any Expression of Interest received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

SICOM General Insurance Ltd shall not incur any obligation with regard to this Expression of Interest exercise and reserves the right to accept or reject any interest expressed or annul the whole procurement exercise without any explanation and without incurring any liability whatsoever.
